What kind of townhouse would the technology-minded employees of Microsoft Corporation want to live in? This was one of Rykon’s driving questions in the early 2000’s as the company’s Seattle office embarked on a unique and ambitious project to create a residential development for Microsoft employees in the growing tech community of Redmond, Washington. As creative townhouse developers with versatility and experience in the Pacific Northwest market, Rykon rose to the challenge of finding just the right location and letting the needs of the target residents inform the design. Bordering the region’s abundant forests and trails, the stacked townhouses of Ashford Park 3 still embrace the community’s quiet, natural beauty and optimism.
